How is Rank IQ different from other SEO tools?

If you have ever used other keyword research or SEO tools such as Semrush or Ahrefs, then you will appreciate that it is a learning curve in itself to simply get used to the tool.

For simplicity, I will explain how the keyword research process is done using Ahrefs to give you an idea of the time it takes to find potential low-competition keywords. The reason I say the potential is because once you’ve done the research, there is no guarantee of any rankings from Google.

Once you have mastered the tool, you then need to start researching for keywords you want to use. If you find a keyword that you feel is suitable, you then need to identify if this keyword is getting enough traffic from google to justify an article being written.

If for instance, you find a keyword, it has search volume and you want to rank in Google, there is a very important step you need to do, and that’s domain authority. If you are a new website, you will have a very low domain authority which will be under 10. DA is scored up to 100, with the likes of Amazon and YouTube having a DA of 99 and 100 respectively.

As a website gets authority and trust from Google, then your DA will increase. As you can appreciate, this will take a long time and it does not happen overnight, that’s for sure.

If you try to write an article on a keyword that is being ranked on page 1 of google by very authoritative websites in your niche, with high DA’s then you are simply wasting your time writing a blog post for that keyword

Why you should do keyword research

Keyword research is a fundamental part of blogging that needs to be done correctly if you want to get ranked in Google and be successful. New blog posts want to achieve the first page of Google, to achieve the most traffic.

It’s a known fact that around 15% of bloggers don’t use any keyword research tools or do keyword research before writing a blog post. This is because they want high-traffic keywords that result in first-page rankings. However, to create quality content to rank first page of Google, you need to use a content optimizer.

Is it any wonder that bloggers give up when they can’t get any traffic from their blog posts? It’s also a known fact that over 65% of professional bloggers use keyword research tools such as Ahrefs. This allows the professionals to rank the first page of Google for a new blog post. Professional bloggers also understand that a longtail keyword phrase is easier to rank for than high-traffic keywords.

If you are serious about blogging and want to have any chance of earning money from blogging, then keyword research is the most important part of the process. Get this wrong and you will never see any success from your blog.

How does the AI Report work?

The AI part of Rank IQ analyses the top 30 blog posts for a said given keyword and produces an AI SEO report. The content analysis part of the tool identifies low competition keywords from the search engine results. This provides a keyword list within the keyword libraries that are hand-picked golden nuggets for bloggers to then write content about.

What Ranking Factors Does Rank IQ Use

The SEO tool looks at suggested word count, keyword difficulty, keyword search results, top-ranking posts, and low-competition keywords.

Once the AI has read through these top posts, it will rank the blog post on the following criteria and data.

1 Speed To Rank

How fast the keyword might take to rank on page 1 of google for that said given keyword?

The three main speeds are ultra-fast, fast, and average.

Ultra-fast – this will rank in about 1-2 months depending on your website’s DA. These are great for a new blogger. Huge authority websites will not normally go after ranking keywords simply because they are not getting enough web traffic for that said keyword. If you can now write high-quality content with these keyword ideas and target keyword, you have a very good chance of having top-ranking blog posts.

Fast – This will take between 2-3 months to rank and will normally still achieve Google ranking quickly, but just not as fast as the Ultra Fast Posts.

Average – This post will normally take between 3-6 months to rank. depending on your blog niche, these posts are normally for more competitive keywords. Within the keyword library, you will be able to filter between the blog posts ranking speeds to pick ones that suit you best. For my site, I filtered the keyword libraries to only show ultra-fast.

From here, within the keyword library, you can also filter on the search volume. Blog posts take a lot of time to research and there is no point in my opinion in spending hours on new blog posts that don’t bring in enough traffic. For example, some blog posts can have suggested yearly traffic of say 1,000 visitors which is simply not worth the ROI (Return On Investment).

Top Tip on Rank IQ

Within the keyword libraries, filter for ultra-fast and then search volumes. This will give you a blog post list of keywords that will rank fast and with the most potential traffic.

2 Average Word Count

It will also give you the average word count required to rank for that blog post so you can plan your blog post to meet the said word count. This is a useful part of the content optimization process, simply because you need to have an idea of how long the post will need to be. Crafting on-page content without knowing how long the post should be is pointless.

This will save you a ton of time and effort. If you write your blog posts blind without knowing how much word count you need to write, then you simply guessing. What if you spend hours writing a 3k-word article for a keyword that only needed 1k to get onto page 1?

3 Post Titles

Getting a high click-through rate is such an important part of SEO and one area that is normally overlooked.

If you get your page title right, then more people will click through to your article and this will send positive signals to Google. This in turn will then push your post up the rankings and help keep you at the top of page 1.

Rank IQ pulls the top titles from the top posts for that keyword. It lists the top ten post titles so you can quickly see what your main competitors have for their top-ranking post titles.

This will give you inspiration and help you but there is even more help at hand. Rank IQ will also list the top words used in the top blog post titles. This allows you to simply make a new post title using the most popular keywords that Google loves.

This really is a game changer and one that allows you to write a killer blog post title in under 2 minutes!

Top tips for using Rank IQ if you are a new blogger.

Top tips for using Rank IQ if you are a new blogger.

If you are a new website or blogger, pick the keyword which is rated as ultra fast to rank. Get as many posts onto your site using this method until you start to see some rankings.

Once you get rankings and your DA starts to increase, then you can go for fast and average keywords which tend to be more difficult to rank for.

What are the 15 Benefits of Rank IQ

  • 1 A full extensive keyword library that covers literally every niche. These are keywords that have been fully researched and hand-picked by Brandon and his team.

This is a total game changer for saving you time when doing keyword research. You also get keywords that are guaranteed to rank as long as you follow the steps in the tool including the post title and word count. For new bloggers, this will save you so much wasted time searching for keywords and writing posts that never rank.

  • 2 Each keyword can only be used by one blogger. This means that once a report has been run for that keyword phrase, this keyword will be removed from the keyword library. This will prevent other users from competing against each other, so once you have taken that keyword, it’s yours and the same keywords can’t be used again and again.
  • 3 Saving you time and money is the biggest benefit since I have started using the tool. Once I get my keyword, I run the report and then optimize the post. After using the other SEO tools, Rank IQ seemed to allow me to write and not get bogged down with a keyword list, do title analysis, and swap between keyword tools and other shiny object syndromes associated with bloggers.

This can all be done within 30 minutes and I know 100% that this post has the potential to rank on page 1. Just to do my own keyword research using Ahrefs could lead to hours of research and I am then I was never 100% confident that the post would rank.

  • 4 The tool uses an AI SEO report so you know that the data is being pulled to the highest of standards that a human would not be able to achieve.
  • 5 The tool was the brains of Brandon Gaille who is literally the most successful blogger on the planet. If that does not add credibility to the product, then I don’t know what does.
  • 6 Extensive keyword library with thousands of keyword phrases in every niche.
  • 7 All keyword phrases are low competition with a high chance of ranking fast.
  • 8 Each post has a quality score with A++ being the highest. As you write the post, you can visually see your score improving and you will be able to see when you have reached your suggested score.
  • 9 Archive Keyword Reports once you have used the content optimizer and posted your post.
  • 10 Write SEO-optimized titles using the top ranking posts as inspiration and using the most used keywords within the post titles.
  • 11 Connect your Google Search Console and get the most up-to-date ranking statistics from Google within your dashboard including posts that have increased in volume over the past 3 months.
  • 12 Update old posts that are declining using the Rank IQ AI tool to run a report.
  • 13 Use your own keyword ideas, simply run them through the SEO report.
  • 14 Identify how fast a post will take to rank using the suggested ultra-fast, fast, and average ranking times.
  • 15 Rank IQ has its own private Facebook group that is one of the most helpful and friendly groups I have ever seen. Brandon will also daily answer specific questions regarding using the AI SEO report and anything else you want to ask. I have even seen people asking for advice on every aspect of blogging, which he happily answers using his wealth of blogging knowledge.
